Founded back in 1582, the University of Edinburgh is a true cornerstone of the city as one of Scotland’s ancient universities and the sixth oldest in the English-speaking world. With nearly 38,000 students walking through its doors each year, it’s safe to say the University is a big part of Edinburgh’s heartbeat.
Our task was to design and produce signage and displays for a number of key buildings across the campus. From showcasing Honorary Graduates in the elegant Old College reception to installing acoustic wall panels in the newly refurbished Estates & Buildings department, we approached every detail with a deep respect for the University’s rich history and tradition.
It was a project rooted in heritage, but designed for today and we are proud to play a small part in a story that’s been centuries in the making.
