
Our journey with TAXI began back in 2016 – and what a ride it’s been!
The game first launched with four city editions: Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and New York. It was really well received, but to align more closely with the company’s vision, it was time for a brand refresh.
The iconic NYC yellow cab was a standout feature, so we gave the design a fresh twist while keeping the cab front and centre. Yellow really pops – and it’s never been more fitting than for this game. Following the launch of the city editions, the football versions were launched, kicking off with Celtic FC, then quickly followed by Hibernian FC and Heart of Midlothian FC.
Since then, TAXI has gone from strength to strength, with even more editions now available including the Scottish Football Association, the SRU, Aberdeen FC and plenty more in the works.
Thanks to the game’s success, TAXI has been invited to exhibit at toy and game fairs across the UK. We worked alongside them to create exhibition banners that captured the same visual impact as the game itself. The banners really helped them stand out at events and continue to do so wherever they go.
TAXI was our very first board game project, and it’s been an absolute pleasure to be part of its journey and ongoing development.
